What is the Equipment Used in Paranormal Investigation?

You might see different pieces of equipment everywhere. Whether you are considering them on a large scale, for instance on a Texas contract warehouse and California contract warehouse or on a small scale like your garage, you see different tools and devices everywhere. You would look for a screwdriver to tighten a bolt, or a jack to fix a flat tire, etc. However, what would you do if you had a spooky creature in your house? Now that is scary! Does that remind you of ‘Ghost Busters’? Well, the truth is that people who are fond of paranormal investigation actually use equipment to track the supernatural.
Theories suggest that the supernatural beings move with different electromagnetic fields. These are areas that cannot genuinely answer such variation in the electromagnetic fields. Also, at times, such fields are not supposed to exist, yet they do with the presence of a ghost. To detect such variation in the electromagnetic fields, an EMF detector is used in paranormal investigation. The principle behind the working of this detector is basically a needle or a beam of light that points towards the strength of electromagnetic fields that exist in that particular area.
The next device that is helpful to these investigators is a digital audio recorder. These devices are kept running while the investigators hunt for ghosts. The digital audio recorder would be able to pick up any noise or voice that the investigators might not hear. At the end of the investigation, this recording is played and any sound, noise, words, or phrases from the ghosts are clearly audible. Is it giving you the creeps?
Another theory says that ghosts release energy in the form of heat. This is the reason why a place that might have ghosts residing in it, might observe some sudden shifts in temperatures. To detect this, an IR thermometer is used. Different types of these thermometers are available with features like built-in laser and back light display. These thermometers can sense any sudden change in the temperature of the surroundings.
Paranormal investigators might also use camcorders. This is the best way to indicate any visual changes around the area. A digital camcorder might also be left running, and it can be set up stationary at different places with motion sensors around the area that is being shot. This way, any movement by the supernatural creatures would be caught on camera and later it can be reviewed. Another advantage of digital cameras is that the video shot by them might be downloaded to the computer, and then used for further investigation with the help of high-resolution software. This will make it possible for the investigators to picture minor details that would otherwise be invisible, or too hard to focus on.
This was all about a paranormal investigator’s gear. One has to have enough guts to actually monitor the movement of these creatures. With the help of these devices, science has made it easy. Further advancement in technology might also present some more devices. Let us all wait till we actually design an instrument that captures the genie in a bottle!
