The evening of July 4, 2012… North Phoenix
Okay, it is quite possible that I saw two unidentified flying objects tonight. It was just after 8:30 PM Arizona Mountain Time and in the eastern sky and also above the house, just a little south. Right now, I am checking around to see if others have seen them.
It is the fourth, and there were fireworks in the air, but these were higher up in the sky. The first object, the one in the east, stayed there for at least a minute before moving towards the north and disappearing. The object had what seemed like a red light when it hovered, but changed to a silver/ whitish glow as it moved to the north, before disappearing into the nearby clouds.
As I scanned the skies, hoping to get a repeat performance, I saw fireworks in the southern skies just above my house. I saw a blinking white light moving towards the south-east, I thought that it was a plane at first, because the skies above here are usually busy with aircraft of nearly every type. The unusual thing was that I saw no other lights on this craft, and the blinking light would start then stop and repeat sequence, then disappeared entirely.
I am checking resources to see if anyone had seen these lights. Unfortunately, I have no video. But I will make a video about my findings for The News Channel.

I got a picture. Send me your email to flywithjacob@gmail.com and I’ll give it to you. I saw it from SoCal.
Thanks, will do!
i would like the pic
We live in Brier, WA and saw three of the same things you describe, go to UFOSTALKER.com and you will see others in several other states reporting the same thing!!
I live in Glendale AZ and think I saw somewhat of the same thing as you Rod. At around 9:45 pm I saw a light that seemed to fade in and out to the east, over central Phoenix perhaps? As I watched it, it moved as if it was circling moving sometime more northward then dipping down toward the horizon. It has started off as sliverish, then switched to red, back to silver then back to red again. Girlfriend got our telescope out and the few times she was able to focus on it, said it appeared to be 3 orbs. We lost sight of it around 10:10 pm as it went low enough on the horizon to be behind a building. My best guess would be an RC plane with lights on it. I’m to much of a science nut to buy into UFO’s as I understand the immense amount of work it would take to travel interstellar space, to only then buzz around.
[...] I am continuing to research what I saw Wednesday night, among the random bursts of fireworks. It seems that I got a response from some when I posted my blog entry on our CUPICtv site. [...]
Thanks for the comments. Hopefully someone, somewhere has the answer to this mystery….
Just an update from my earlier comment. I’ve now figured out what it was I saw on July 4. It was a kite with LED lights. I saw the lights again on my way home from work, a few nights ago, and as I drove past where the lights were, I could clearly see it was a kite with LED’s attached.
